The DK0NA contest team took part in the IARU UHF/VHF/SHF October Contest 2026. The weather was ok and so we could set up a second antenna system for the 70cm band. We had a lot of help for setting up and down this system. Mni tnx to Harald DH1NAI and his grandson Jonas, as well as Dieter DD1DLH and our new friend Bernd, former DO6BER and now DJ0SB. Congrats to the new class A call Bernd!
We had dry weather but heavy fog. Only from Sunday afternoon we had a chance to do some mmWave activities on the bands from 122 GHz and up. Luckily we could achieve some connections to Schöneck JO60DJ and also to DR7C, JO50WB on the Schneeberg on the bands 122, 134 and 300 GHz (light). Tnx to Roland, DK4RC who was operating on these bands with DR7C.
Here is a brief overview of the results (without the mmWave bands log)
Due to a lack of operators (I (DK5NJ)had to leave my 70cm station on Sunday afternoon to do the mmWave activities) we had to stop 70cm band operating a few hours before contest end, but the overall results are ok.
